The Geodetic Unit works with engineers and land surveyors, both public and private, to: Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control for all MnDOT projects statewide. This work is performed to the standards and specifications of the National Geodetic Survey office for inclusion in the National Geodetic Spatial Reference System.
