Maudies and EyM were two of the worst Tex mex meals I’ve ever had. Basically anywhere in town that uses the “Jorge Arredondo’s” recipes. Terrible refried beans at most Austin places too. El Patio though, give me a half Jerry’s Special taco or half guacamole cheese enchiladas over most places in Austin.The Bouldin Creek seafood restaurant contains one of Austin’s original high-end patio dining experiences, and still one of the best.
