An RMR/SRO is too wide to be direct milled to a TS slide and really even a standard S2 slide without a adaptor plate of some type. That's not true, at least for the S2. I've got a couple of CZ Shadow 2 slides I use in CO. They make weight, but barely. At the IL SECT match my Shadow 2 weighed 44.9 oz with a plastic guide rod. It's been milled specifically for the Vortex Viper. I would like to just have a window milled on top of both slides. Nothing more.

Before sending, I emailed a ton of questions to them and all were answered very quickly with great information. I shipped the slide to them Monday before last, they got it on Wednesday and they sent me a return tracking email on Saturday. I received it back today. It took them all of a week to Mill and Cerakote the slide and get it back to me.
